Parade and Picnic
Art City participants, staff, and volunteers spend the month of June preparing for our annual community parade. On the day of the parade, hundreds of people fill the streets with colourful costumes, banners, and floats in celebration of art. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. A free community picnic with live entertainment follows the parade.

Mural Projects
Each summer, Art City welcomes community groups and individual residents to help beautify our neighbourhood through the painting of murals.
Halloween Event
Art City participants, staff, and volunteers spend each October creating a spooky Halloween event. Held the night before Halloween, our event is safe, fun, and free for the community. Past events have included haunted houses, film projects, and fashion shows.

Art Exhibitions
An important part of the art making process is to showcase the created artwork. Our participants are extremely proud to share their artwork with family, friends, and the broader public. We have hosted exhibitions at our studio as well as at Cinemateque, PLATFORM Centre for photographic + digital arts, Semai Gallery, and Urban Shaman.
